Local Bare Root Sale - Late April 2022

Hello and happy Spring! We have an abundance of bare root plants needing to find homes ASAP! We are offering appointment slots (Saturday 23rd through Monday 25th) where folks can come visit us at our half acre home site (where our high tunnels and chickens are), ask questions, look around, and if it is a fit, go home with a bunch of lovely plants ready to plant right away. We have seeds, cuttings and potted plants as well. A real wide mix. Linked right below is a document with a fairly accurate list of what we have available, we will update list as people scoop up plants…

Bare Root Plant Menu

Take a look, make a nice wish list up with a sense of numbers, sizes, etc. that you are interested in before you come so we can be ready to collect some amazing plants for you.

You will need to make an appointment so we hold the space for you to arrive, ask questions and have some nice dedicated time. We’ll have people park along the road in front of our home (over the white line to be safe) so that different sets of folks can overlap a bit here or there. Feel free to bring questions and we (mainly Sean) can try to be helpful in trouble shooting the best plants for your site. Please note that we will not be hosting this at our main site in Trumansburg, NY. The address and contact information where you will be heading is provided in the link below…. As much as we’d love to invite people to show up informally, we need to ask that you make an appointment and don’t just pop by this time!

We accept cash, check or Pay Pal. If credit card is the only way you can pay we can work with that and email you an invoice. We’re open to trade as well, email sean @ edibleacres.org ahead of time to share what you’d like to offer and we can work something out :).

Please don’t let limited income be a limiting factor, all prices are flexible and if you are low/no income +/or involved in food justice we’d love to share and gift the plants you are looking for.

Book Appointment!

If this short notice doesn’t work for you this time, please know we plan to pot up a lot of plants and have more events in the weeks/month or so to come. This just aligned to make sense in a very short notice way as the weather is warming so very fast!
